Personal Injuries

Your written authority will be required to release a medical report on your condition by the doctor who attended you following the accident. We will also require the name and address of your family practitioner in order that we may approach him/her in connection with quantifying your claim. We have a form for this purpose which has been prepared in the light of the Access to Medical Reports Act, 1988. You should also provide us with your own account of the extent of your injuries and any particular discomfort or disabilities suffered. If you have been an active sportsperson, walker, DIY enthusiast or painter etc, then let us know if you have been unable to continue these activities.Similar considerations apply to any passengers in your vehicle who are injured. Note that injury, for these purposes, can include shock or upset.
