Environment
The Board endeavours to ensure that the company operates in a responsible manner with regard to the environment and views their Environmental Policy as part of the Company’s Corporate Social responsibility. Our Environmental policy sets objectives to reduce waste and save energy. Management engage with the staff, stakeholders, strategic partners and suppliers with a mandate to find ways to minimise the waste of resources. Where appropriate the Board endeavours to make use of the Government support through Envirowise, the Carbon Trust and Net Regs amongst others.
Transport
Our staff are encouraged to car share on their journeys to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Interest free loans for public transport season tickets are also available. Staff entitled to a company car are given a choice of low emission vehicles.
Recycling
The printing of documents is discouraged unless for audit or compliance purposes. All policies and procedures are available on the intranet to our staff rather than printing handbooks and guides. Waste bins are provided for recyclable waste and collection of such materials is organised with a local bespoke company.
